Hola, Ross here. A quick note to let everyone know we are playing Saturday night, along with a TON of other bands, at Jugheads, for the memorial show in memory of Sid Copeland, the late owner who died 2 years ago.

There is going to be a shitload of excellent bands all night long, so come on out and reminisce and all that fun shit, and enjoy one helluva show. We should go on around midnight, technically Sunday morning 4.20.08. but come early and have a have a great time.

After the ball drops (I said ball... then I said drops) to start 2008, IdiotKin will, indeed, be heading into the studio to start recording their new album.

We are working on all the preliminary shit right now, and Reese and I will be starting things off soon, again doing our recording with our outstanding engineer, Greg Naylor, in Mesa, AZ.

We've slowed our playing schedule a little as of late, but we'll be picking up again soon to practice and support the new record. Now, if that doesn't just inspire a whole shit-load of confidence, huh?... practice live in front of people, rather than just being prepared.

Anyway, have a happy and safe holiday season, and we'll look forward to seeing you all at our up-coming shows.

We're playing with Fat Wreck Chords band Only Crime on Friday Feb. 9th at That One Place in Downtown Phoenix. We're playing with the New Mexican Disaster Squad (greatest name for a band since IdiotKin) and local heart throbs Down By Fire. If you want pre-sell tickets we have a stack and we'll gladly part ways with them.
